❤ TGIF & Flower Lei Day

My general principle has always been more or less, this…is what worked for me, if you want to achieve this…then you can also do what I did…etc. But, instead of taking it personally from my boys that most people don’t want to clean and do that for a living (which completely simplifies and minimizes the whole business) but more like “Mom, you’re doing so great in business, just think about those things and try to help people start whatever business that they want, but help them along in the same way”. Ok, so after talking to my kids, who are so sweet, eloquent and brutally honest; mentioned that maybe I should write another book for starting your own business. Obviously, the idea has passed my thoughts a zillion times, but hearing it from my boys was like a wake up call. Kind of similar to the iPhones new app for an alarm if your alarm doesn’t go off 🙂

So, looking at my brown and blue eyed angels, how could I not be inspired and grateful for being their mom and having such kind words of wisdom come my way?

I heard a tweet earlier today from @aplusk, which was actually a quote from Eleanor Roosevelt, “Small minds discuss people. Average minds discuss events. Great minds discuss ideas.”  Thanks to the power of the flower, (Happy Lei Day, one more time May 1st) I am officially embarking on finishing that book I started for anyone interested in being an entrepreneur and will dedicate it to the brown and blue eyes that I adore.

I believe that most successful businesses understand the message that Eleanor was stating and embraced all it’s facets. Don’t be so grandiose and removed that you can’t relate with the finer details in life, such as the needs of the people that you serve. Also, be an active participant in society and stay afloat with current events and upcoming festivities for the masses at large and present your business accordingly. And finally, stretch your personal and professional goals and create landmarks that encourage creativity and crushes conformity. Liberating ourselves from our selves, is the biggest and yet most rewarding challenge that we can face. Such a great idea could only have come from Mrs. R.

Stop Worrying & Make Money Now

Live on Purpose!!!!!

❀ Live on Purpose ❀

The first rule is there are no rules. That being said, our beliefs about life and money in general do however govern our perspective, status and fulfillment. Luckily, we have the power of personal freedom or free will to have, be, do, think and act anyway that we see fit. By using the law of attraction, making money is easy!

This very moment is the pivotal focus for creating anything that you want in life. You can visualize about the future until you turn into a rainbow, but right now, this second is where all the magic is!

For instance, like raising a child and being a good parent is not based on wishes, hopes and dreams. These are great for the background picture, but the day to day is based on action, synthesis and consistency mixed in of course with unconditional love. Having a good intention to keep them happy and quiet, but giving them cookies before dinner is not being consistent with the overall plan of waiting patiently for family meals and having nice manners out of respect. Stick with your main objective. Set up a good plan, acknowledge and redirect constantly.

Managing a business is obviously less important priority wise compared to raising a family, but I’ve done both. I’m not minimizing the depth of human emotion, but offering a glance of the magnitude of our daily efforts of growing a business that creates abundance and satisfaction right now.

These following tips are just a small guide to help you along the path. Reaching your dreams and goals can be achieved at any time, in any area and in any economy.

  1. You are all you need to be successful, having a team or having mentors are like your anchors. Your desire is the real key. Envision, decipher, let go and hold on are your tools for creating abundance.
  2. Envision your dream, your passion. See the big picture and get excited about what you love doing!
  3. Decipher your master plan. First, draft out main categories or levels and then map out with individual baby steps.
  4. Let go of any FEAR. No worries, be confident and believe in your plan.
  5. Hold on to your dreams, your reality and live on purpose. Create something positive and take action every day!

No Regrets!

Pure bliss

Pure bliss

Being from Maui, I’ve absorbed what the meaning of the aloha spirit really means. You give more than you take, and you treat everyone like family, like your own ohana. We’re all connected and responsible for each other. It’s a loving way to live your life. It infuses creativity and vitality in your day to day and encourages gratitude.

That’s how I tried to treat my business; all my clients and employees were family. I also tried to challenge myself and exceed my business goals and take it to a new height.  It’s also like watching your children grow up and create their own rich life that far exceeds the dreams you dreamt for them.

As for myself, I made my own way in life the best I knew at the time, which is probably why I always want the best for everybody. Looking back I should ‘a, could ‘a, would ‘a, doesn’t matter. I’m a work in progress, we all are. If it wasn’t for the mistakes that I have made, I would not have persevered and conquered some of my hardest challenges. So, if I can show other people a path to accomplish their dreams by starting their own business and they learn to do it faster, better and more successful than I did, then right on, I’m stoked.

I just hope we all remember that it’s our belief in ourselves that brought us to this path of entrepreneurship in the first place. That same high level of confidence and self esteem will also propel us forward when we are faced with obstacles and negativity. So, when a client disagrees with your methods, argues for a cheaper rate, complains of poor service and generally treats you as if you’re less than, ho’omanao, remember your truth and inner promise to yourself that you won’t let anyone cause self-doubt. Trust your choices and your wisdom and assume that their negativity is like a sickness that consumes them. It is not your reality, or what consumes you, so carry on and let them go if you cannot compromise toward a solution. Live true and live without regret.

Aloooooohaaaa!
